Potsdam Wedding Office // This small autumn wedding story from Potsdam and the New Gardens ‘Neuer Garten’ located nearby the city hall shows, that even a small lovestory can be a beautiful memory. While the groom, guests and me were waiting for the bride, the tension rised – followed by her arrival. For me, that first look is one of the most valuable moments of a wedding.
Of course, the exchange of the rings and all sweet things happing on your wedding day are important, too. After the ceremony we went in the New gardens. It was very cold and a bit rainy – so its important to prepare yourselves for beautiful wedding photos in autumn and winter in Germany. Bring hand warmers, a thick jacket, maybe a nice blanket for cuddeling. Warm tea is also a great idea after an hour outdoor shoot with cold hands.
What me makes happy about weddings off the summer season, is that the light is quite different. In general there is no dazzling sun, but exciting situations through falling and colored leaves, rustling winds and freezing water – or even snow. If you are looking for more inspirations for your autumn or winter wedding, check out a pre-wedding session in the Volkspark Rehberge and an after-wedding session in Berlin Mitte. And of course a summer wedding at Castle Kartzow in Potsdam.
