Cool barn wedding between Berlin and Hamburg
⋈ Today I present the DIY barn wedding of Nelli and Frank at Manor Sarnow to you. A romantic countryside summer wedding in June.
After a small getting ready at the wedding venue, the wedding guests found theirselfes in the town hall of Joachimsthal and expected the arrival of the happy bride and groom. Like the Sarnow estate, the town hall is located in the wonderful biosphere reserve Schorfheide-Chorin, which is a popular excursion area in the nature.
The Chorin monastery is also a popular wedding and shoot venue in the region. I have not been there yet, but as Jana Pajonk writes in her book Rund um Berlin – Janz weit draußen, “the monastery is a place where I always forget the everyday life” (translated, the book is available in German). Dear bridal couples, I will come with you to this great venue. But back to our summer-barn-DIY wedding at the manor Sarnow. Although we were not in the monastery, but this beautiful wedding venue is also invaluable.
Especially when the sunshine strokes the trees and fields and we make our wedding photos at this time. As all my wedding stories, it is the light that counts, the mood and an authentic photo shoot with the wedding couple. And these two were a loving, bit crazy couple in a very exhilarating mood. For me, in combination with the soft evening light, this was a perfect situation ending up a small wedding story in the north of Berlin.
