Wedding Manor Wrechen // I captured this beautiful DIY summer wedding in 2015 and now put it into the blog finally, yay.
Have a look for a recent wedding story at Manor Wrechen with the vintage wedding of Anne and Marcus.
It was my very first wedding story at Manor Wrechen, which is situated in the Feldberger Seenlandschaft somewhere between Hamburg and Berlin. If you are traveling in the Feldberger landside and arrive to Wrechen, you can hardly imagine how close these big cities are. There are chickens running across the meadows, a forest and a beautiful lake are close. Everything is very spacious and open. The ‘Kultur-Gut Wrechen’ Manor unfold its special charm. It is also a mixture of DIY barn wedding, shabby chic and country life. I like this kind of weddings very much and have managed to get my camping tent open overnight. You will find other accommodation options at the main house, adjoining house and a somewhat bizarre hall with wooden huts.
Back to this wedding of Louise and Simon. As often, the story startet with their Getting ready. A great tension and atmosphere built up on this hot August day and ended up with a very intimate first-look moment of the two, which I was allowed to capture. Then we went on to the wedding room of the ‘Alte Schule’ old school in Fuerstenhagen. There you also can celebrate weddings and have a great dinner, you can find another story at this venue in my blog. Back to the Manor Wrechen. There was a reception with a soap bubble-trellise and the late afternoon we did their bridal couple shoot. Buffet and party followed – and it became midnight very fast. How fast such wedding days can pass. So it’s very important that you have a wedding photographer you trust on your side.
By the way, I have have already been four times to the Manor Wrechen as wedding photographer, I hope to capture more weddings at this beautiful venue in future. A small preview from the 2016 wedding season can also be found here.
