Modern Wedding at the Spreewald Resort Seinerzeit
⋈ In July, Maria and Paul who have known each other since high school, celebrated their modern wedding day with their son Bruno, their dog Manfred and 80 friends and family members in the middle of the Spreewald.
They already arrived on Friday, one day before the wedding ceremony, so that they could spend a whole weekend relaxing with their guests. This was important to them so that the wedding would take place without stress and no one would feel rushed.
The Getting Ready took place at the location of the Spreewald Resort Seinerzeit. I accompanied both Maria and Paul during their separate preparations. This way, when they receive their wedding photos, they will be able to get a glimpse of the other’s experience.
Paul wore a light blue bow tie and matching suspenders from Auerbach and Maria a beautiful dress with lace details from Seeweiss. Both could hardly wait for the official part of the day to begin.
Maria’s brother accompanied her to the wedding ceremony, which took place in the Weidendom (the Cathedral of Willows). The two of them took a little boat, which allowed Maria to take a moment for herself before meeting her groom and the wedding party. At the Weidendom, the groom and all the guests were already expecting the bride.
The outdoor ceremony took place in the circle of their loved ones. It was in this lovely setting that Maria and Paul said their very moving vows. Their rings were brought to them by their dog Manfred.
After tying the knot, we made time for the cheery couple photo-shooting in the Weidendom and in the beautiful landscape. There was a special play of light at that moment which made for some unusual and very pretty light effects. This shooting reflected their love for nature but also had a lot of urban flair, which is something that I also really like.
One beautiful moment followed the next on this summer’s wedding day. Maria and Paul cut their wedding cake, which was made by a friend and decorated with sparklers. The wonderful dinner took place and the couple’s magical First Dance also happened in this gorgeous location. Throughout it all, everyone felt comfortable in the modern Spreewald atmosphere.
At half past nine during sunset, we had a second couple shooting. The light at that time was just too gorgeous to not capture its magic. The evening ended with a delightful and happy party in the Spreewald Seinerzeit Resort, where all the guests got to celebrate the bride and groom once again.
